From Forrest Gump to The Way of a Woman: Jan Daleys Successful Smooth Jazz Music



Jan Daley’s career has been long and prolific.  She has released many incredible smooth jazz tracks and put on an immense amount of live shows.  Back in the day, Jan Daley had the honor or performing alongside Bob Hope in his famous USO tours.  A clip of these tours was also used in the movie Forrest Gump where Daley shared the screen with Bruce Willis, Peter Fonda, Alec Baldwin and Tom Hanks. 

Daley’s extensive career has given her an unimaginable amount of performance experience that has crafted her into the esteemed songwriter and performer we see today.  Her smooth jazz music has just become more and more authentic as her career progresses and, today, her music is one of the best representations of classic smooth jazz that exists today. 

Jan recently released a new album titled “The Way of a Woman” that absolutely holds up her reputation of consistently stellar smooth jazz. The easy-listening album shows a mastery of the vocal art, impressive playing by her accompanists and a talent for creating cohesive musical expression in the smooth jazz realm.
