Fall in Love with Singer Songwriter Leslie Cours Mather All Over Again

Leslie Cours Mather has had a busy year. Since fall of 2017 she has released a series of singles that have found favor in the adult contemporary radio charts, including her stirring patriotic track entitled “We Are America.”

On September 28th Mather will be releasing the project “I’m A Survivor,” which contains her radio friendly single of the same title, and a variety of rousing and inspiring tracks that combine great musicianship with Mather’s soaring vocals.

Leslie Cours Mather, like many of her fans, is a survivor of hardship. Having undergone a kidney transplant, her daughter’s leukemia diagnosis, and the unexpected passing of her father, Mather built a thick skin. Instead of growing bitter from her unfortunate experiences, she has chosen to turn them into an inspirational force and encourages her listeners to stay positive and keep fighting.

In the upcoming months, Mather will performing at three Kidney Walks for the National Kidney Foundation, rallying support for the cause in Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Irvine. If you’d like to support Leslie’s Team for the National Kidney Foundation, click here.

New Motivational Music on Spotify by Leslie Cours Mather has Contagious Positivity

I’m still obsessing over Leslie Cours Mather’s new song “Love’s Gonna Do That”. It’s just as fun to listen to now as it was the first time. The song is just so quotable that I’ve had it stuck in my head for a week now, not that I’m complaining. I feel like I’m a happier person having listened to this inspirational song. I can’t wait for her new album “I’m a Survivor” to come out next month! If “Love’s Gonna Do That” is a preview about what’s to come on the album, then it can easily become one of my favorite albums of the year!  This song, and Leslie Cours Mather as an artist overall truly represent the best in the Adult Contemporary genre - blending pop, soul, rhythm and blues and rock influences (and also a lil’ bit of country in there as well)!

This song is inspiring for me because I love how honest Leslie is in the song. The idea that love can make you take chances to follow your dreams, while also being able to come around and hurt you is something all people who experienced heartbreak can relate to. However, I love how Leslie inspires us that love will also put you back up on your feet and believe in it again. Leslie’s songs like “Love’s Gonna Do That” and “We Are America” are definitely the songs that inspire hope in me that anything is possible.  Spotify’s curators thought so too, as they added her “We Are America” single to their Music Discovery playlist

Be sure to follow Leslie on Facebook  and Spotify to stay updated on her latest news and music, and get ready for her new album “I’m A Survivor” that releases on September 28th! You can pre-order it here :)

Like Kelly Clarkson’s "Meaning of Life," Leslie Cours Mather Remains Optimistic about Love on “Love’s Gonna Do That” on iTunes

Listen to the lyrics of Kelly Clarkson’s “Meaning of Life” in this Billboard Article, the takeaway is clear – that after heartbreak when a new door opens,  you have to be ready and willing to walk through it.  That’s what Leslie Cours Mather sings about in her latest song “Love’s Gonna Do That”. It’s a motivational song that talks about taking a huge risk and doing a double down on your dreams. Although she has been heart-broken, struggled, and crushed, she has still remained positive and optimistic that everything will get better. Love is a crazy thing that is going to make you do crazy things like take chances, get hurt, go back again, and, most importantly, believe in yourself.

I loved this new song by Leslie Cours Mather because it has that country flavor that embodies the American can-do attitude. After hearing this song for the first time, I couldn’t help but feel happy and motivated to follow my dreams. This song and her “We Are America” music video are the reasons why I admire Leslie: talented, strong, and inspirational. Be sure to follow Leslie Cours Mather on Facebook  and Spotify to stay updated on her latest news and music, and get ready for her new album “I’m A Survivor” that releases on September 28th!  I just pre-ordered it here :)

Inspired by a variety of strong female artists from Stevie Nicks to Carrie Underwood, singer-songwriter Leslie Cours Mather blends the adult contemporary genre with country influences for her unique and distinct style. The patriotic and uplifting lyrics in her single ‘We Are America’ are resonating with audiences. She passionately invites us all to unite and be strong in the preservation of our country’s core values of freedom and justice.

“Leslie Cours Mather is back with a song to pull us together in these times of division and indecision. ‘We Are America’ should tug at the hearts of all Americans. With attacks from outside and inside, ‘We Are America’ is the song we need to hear.”
-  Dave Young, KDKD Radio

Leslie’s positive messages stretch beyond patriotism. As a wife and mother dedicated to her family, Leslie has grown to be a fighter and a survivor. Coming this fall, she will be releasing her debut album, appropriately titled, “I’m a Survivor,” which contains recent Billboard Adult Contemporary charting tracks, plus her recently released single entitled, “Love’s Gonna Do That.”

Judging by the immense soul and passion that shines through in ‘We Are America,’ there is no doubt that Leslie Cours Mather will continue to impress and inspire her listeners and to fully embrace life despite the obstacles that come along the way.

Stream ‘We Are America’ on Spotify and watch the official music video on Youtube. Also make sure to follow Leslie Cours Mather on Facebook and pre-order “I’m A Survivor.”

Have a lot of “spare” time this summer? Spend it bowling with great music from Brian McShea and The Sidemen this month, it’ll be right up your guys’ “alley!” It’s at the popular Lucky Strike bowling alley on Hollywood Blvd., so it’s definitely something you should “strike” off your bucket list. I’m sure the traffic will be bad, so be sure to “split” an Uber with some friends and go together for a fun time! I know it’s on a Sunday night and most people have work the next day, but it’ll be a great way to get the ball rolling and start your week off on a high note. Be sure to follow them on Facebook to stay updated on what’s hap-pin-ing with Brian and the boys!

In case you don’t know who Brian McShea and The Sidemen are, I highly recommend you check them out if you like alternative rock. They released an EP on Spotify this summer called “Real People, Not Actors” and has a bunch of great songs like “We Don’t Wanna Hear About It” and “Mr. Davis, Your Famous!” One of their more popular songs, “Stephanie” is off the album too, and also has a music video on YouTube to go along with it. This summer is really heating up in Los Angeles, how’s everybody staying cool during this heat wave? I may not know how to stay cool, but I know how to be cool! See Why This Energetic Alt. Band Stands Out on YouTube! Read the Story on NoDepression!

Have you guys checked on the article on NoDepression about Brian McShea and the Sidemen? They absolutely love them! They said how they are “one of the most prolific and diverse in the U.S., and this group contributes to its diversity with their dynamic blend of pop, alternative rock, and jam-band aesthetics.” It makes me so happy to see that Brian and the boys are getting the attention they deserve, especially from a well-known website like NoDepression. Hopefully their publicity will attract new followers that will love these undiscovered gems!

Besides the article, they are also getting a lot more views on YouTube. I remember watching their “Stephanie”music video last week when it only had 500 views, and now it has over 2,500! I know these are rookie numbers compared to the big names like the Foo Fighters or Foster the People, but for an independent artist like Brian McShea and the Sidemen, these numbers are huge! At this rate, I wouldn’t be surprised if they get in the tens of thousands of views; which would be more than enough of a following to fill up their upcoming shows at The Redwood Bar (7/31) and Lucky Strike (8/26) in Los Angeles!

If You’re A Rock Or Fall Out Boy Fan, Get Some Free Music On Spotify Of Brian Mcshea And The Sidemen

BRIAN McSHEA AND THE SIDEMEN

A lot of songs you listen to, you may only play once, but with Brian McShea and The Sidemen you just can’t get enough of a good thing.  They just released 3 singles off their new album (which is coming out later this month).  The first one “We Don’t Wanna Hear About it” is one of those songs – it was recommended by Noisetrade so of course, grabbed a free download.

Not since I wore out my Fall Out Boys download of the track, The Last of The Real Ones, have I played the crap out a song like this one.  Seems like everytime I listen I hear a new note from the trombone or sax or interpret something new about the lyrics.  Their next single “Stephanie” – again a great tune and the most recent release one “You’re Famous Mr. Davis” (this one has an interesting true story behind it – google it!) became available on Spotify.  I loved Stephanie – Mr. Davis I wasn’t so sure about but the more I listen, the more I like it!  It’s definitely a departure from the other 2 in terms of style.  You can get a free download of all 3 at Noisetrade or you can stream ‘em on Spotify .

So if you’re into big bands (7 pieces to be exact!) with a big sound or if you like bands like Fall Out Boy, Foo Fighters and the likes, you owe it to yourself to check out Brian McShea and The Sidemen at: www.BrianMcSheaAndTheSidemen .

In the Spirit of Southern Rock like Lynyrd Skynyrd, Jagertown’s “Rearview” YouTube Video is Full of Bite and Grit

Like Lynyrd Skynyrd and many other southern rock artists before them, Jagertown’s single Rearview  has been reviewed by perhaps the best known Country Music critic, for Music Row Magazine,  Robert K. Oermann,  in his column DISClaimer:  “I dig this. The fierce lead singer has bite and grit. The band plays with fiery conviction and lotsa punch. The kiss-off song packs a wallop. A winner.”   And yes we agree Mr. Oermann, that pretty much sums it up!

Rearview continues to pick up steam on the Music Row chart and views of the lyric video on YouTube.   You can get the single or the album on Google Play or iTunes.

The Slow Lights, Pop Rock Band with Horns Releases Spotify Single Wicked Bones

I heard this new (well new to me anyway) 4 piece band from Maryland, the Slow Lights - and absolutely fell in love with their sound, they are kinda rock, kind of pop with a horn section (that’s actually made up of ONE amazing player – she plays keyboards and like 4 different horns)!.    Take a listen to their single Wicked bones on Spotify or DOWNLOAD IT FREE ON Noisetrade  and let me know what you think.  I for one am hooked – hopefully they’ll be putting out more music on a regular basis.

Rearview by Jagertown Is Already Big Hit on Country Radio

Hey my fellow country fans I just heard the best new song out there on the radio today; Rearview by Jagertown. I want to say this band reminds me of a mixture of Blake Shelton and with some classic rock hints, but that’s my opinion!  Tried to find it online but apparently it’s off an album of the same name that doesn’t come out until next week, but I did find a video here. If this song doesn’t get stuck in your head then your speakers might possibly need fixing! Honestly this is such a refreshing take on the break up song, if there were more songs like this the world would be a much better place. Love the fiddle player!
