Sijay Releases New Latest Album, Detroit Club, and Gives Away Free Music Download

Sijay’s musical background and the urban lifestyle of Chicago has established a desire to not follow the typical music rules, and has allowed him to flawlessly merge genres to constantly create music that is in a league of its own. Fitting in has never been so out of style. Sijay’s album “Detroit Club” released on Tuesday, November 20 opens his audience up to a musical psyche molded into an intricate device that has been resting in a rich marinade of Neo Soul, R&B, and Jazz Fusion. The epitome of a triple threat, Sijay is a producer, songwriter and mixer. Most of the lyrics are about trials of human emotion, playing on common themes like love and loss from a different perspective. Many songs are about hypothetical situations occurring to an over-curious protagonist. Songs range from the goings on at a seedy night club with hot tubs on every other floor, to a chance encounter with a girl who wears clothes from the 80’s and spikes her hair every morning. In celebration of the new album “Detroit Club” and the upcoming holidays his label is giving away the full length lead single coincidentally titled “Detroit Club” when you sign up for Sijay’s newsletter. Eric Dill Releases New Songs off Forthcoming Album Forever Is Not Enough; After Platinum Song Partnership with Daughtry

Any fan of Daughtry, or fans of his hit song “No Surprise,” must check out his collaborator and similar music tastemaker Eric Dill. Along with Daughtry, Dill has the same musical talents and style as other artists like, Nine Inch Nails, Steve Perry and Smashing Pumpkins. Dill’s record success with his single “War with the Wolves" is just one of the treats off of “Forever is Not Enough.” Focusing on his solo artist career, Eric Dill collaborated with American Idol star Chris Daughtry to write Daughtry’s hit single “No Surprise” along side Nickelback front man Chad Kroger. Since Dill’s vocal prowess has been categorized as one similar to Chris Daughtry whose American Idol stardom put his rich and harmonious voice on the map, this duo was a natural for collaboration. The single earned Dill his first Platinum Album Award in 2009 as well as two BMI Pop awards credited as a composer for “No Surprise” in 2010. Now in 2012, Eric Dill is releasing his sophomore album “Forever is Not Enough.” This album is a striking blend of Dill’s vocal range and skills coupled with lyrics that are truly a piece of Eric’s heart and soul. “Forever is Not Enough” definitely has deeper aspects in the lyrics and possesses a darker side then his first album “Wherever You Are.” None the less, his melodic vocals are still the powerful ones that Dill has represented throughout his career. Planning A Trip With Travel With Carnet Guides Has The New York Insider Addresses

New York is my favorite place to visit. When I’m in NY, I use Carnet guide as my on the go travel advisor for things to do. I’m planning a trip to New York over the Christmas and New Year holiday and I want to check out these recommendations: Aureole's Bar Room at Midtown West | Seafood Dining The front room of Charlie Palmer's restaurant, Aureole is actually a bar; although the style is casual-chic. The high-ceilings and festive decor is dominated by a wall of wine. Cuisine includes asian-inspired dishes such as caramelized sea scallops in miso and fennel tofu puree and shrimp with coconut, lemongrass and asian pear. I was looking for this restaurant in New York that I read about last year after the Michelin guide came out. I searched everywhere for it online and found it on the Carnet site. I saved it to my trip planner and will take it with me on the next trip. I also learned that I could even eat at a few bars in the city without sacrificing on the menu quality; this location being one of them. They had some good ideas that made being alone in Manhattan perfectly bearable. The Carnet events section is helpful for getting a VIP experience and knowing best details on how to get tickets, attend and not get overwhelmed by large crowds, such as: Christmas Tree Lightings on Upper East Side | Midtown | Downtown During November and December, the city is full of events and attractions that must be booked in advance with the exception of visiting the Christmas tree lightings, which is a spectacle unto itself and is a great reason to take a break and sip hot cocoa. Vienna Boys Choir at Carnegie Hall | Midtown Manhattan This one night performance of the boys choir from Vienna is a must see. Their angelic voices and melodic technique will fill the red velvet auditorium at Carnegie Hall on We also use the Carnet Guide for New York Travel and Tours on foot, of the city’s best neighborhoods Check out the free New York guide here

Eric Dill Debuts New Songs on Album for CD Release Party

Eric Dill’s independent label, Vigil Records, held an exceptional album release party for his solo record “Forever is Not Enough” coming out shortly; at the Gibson Showroom in Beverly Hills, CA. This maximum capacity event was made up of industry insiders, and a virtual whose-who of Hollywood celebrities, actors and musicians. This intimate location houses a mini-museum of Gibson products throughout the years, and was the perfect location for the showcase. Eric’s rock/pop live performance accompanied by two stellar musicians, and his soulful performance when he played and sang a few of his acoustic songs brought the house down. Following up on his top 100 and Top 40 radio success of his first single “War with the Wolves” off the new album, and after his incredible performance at the party it is no wonder that he continues to climb the music charts. Aside from the great food, open-bar, and lively audience, party-goers left with a gift bag that included an Eric Dill T-shirt that says, “I’m kind of a big Dill.” Starting a solo music career is always risky, and nerve-racking, but Eric Dill put his musical past to good use, with amazing vocal skills; and lyrics that he is truly passionate about. You can listen to some of his songs on iTunes here. Visit Eric’s website here

New Album, Detroit Club, From Chicago Based Singer-Songwriter Sijay Available November 20th

Sijay’s musical mind is a complex instrument that is a rich marinade of Jazz, neo-soul, and R&B for just over 22 years.
