Country Music Chart Topper Eileen Carey Set to Perform Her YouTube Single at the Orange County Fair

Country Rock artist Eileen Carey has been topping country charts with her most recently released hit single, “Meet Me Halfway” and now has a music video for the track on YouTube.

“Country Mom” Carey has placed her single on the international HotDisc Top40 Chart previously and now has been topping the domestic charts on NewMusicWeekly above the likes of Jason Aldean, Keith Urban, Chris Bellamy, and even the new grammy-award winning artist Maren Morris! Her projects have gotten her perform with some legendary artists such as, Don McLean, Jefferson Starship, The Motels, Wilson Phillips, Tal Bachman, Johnny Rivers, Rita Coolidge, Nelson, and Peter Noone just to name a few.

Carey is set to also perform at the upcoming Orange County Fair at the Hanger stage on Wednesday August 7th and will be performing her smash hit “Meet Me Halfway”. She will perform around 3:30 for anyone who is planning on going to the OC Fair or is even in the area. A concert that is definitely worthwhile to see!

Have a lot of “spare” time this summer? Spend it bowling with great music from Brian McShea and The Sidemen this month, it’ll be right up your guys’ “alley!” It’s at the popular Lucky Strike bowling alley on Hollywood Blvd., so it’s definitely something you should “strike” off your bucket list. A lot of songs you listen to, you may only play once, but with Brian McShea and The Sidemen you just can’t get enough of a good thing.  They just released 3 singles off their new album (which is coming out later this month).  The first one “We Don’t Wanna Hear About it” is one of those songs – it was recommended by Noisetrade so of course, grabbed a free download. 

Not since I wore out my Fall Out Boys download of the track, The Last of The Real Ones, have I played the crap out a song like this one.  Seems like everytime I listen I hear a new note from the trombone or sax or interpret something new about the lyrics.  Their next single “Stephanie” – again a great tune and the most recent release one “You’re Famous Mr. Davis” (this one has an interesting true story behind it – google it!) became available on Spotify.  I loved Stephanie – Mr. Davis I wasn’t so sure about but the more I listen, the more I like it!  It’s definitely a departure from the other 2 in terms of style.  You can get a free download of all 3 at Noisetrade or you can stream ‘em on Spotify .

Although not even born yet when Pop Rock Artists Wang Chung and The Cutting Crew hit it big with their 80’s hits, 14 Year Old Pop Artist Just FAITH will be opening for them on Sunday, August 20th at Shannon’s on Pine in Long Beach, CA at 4 PM. Other special guests include up-and-comers The Companies, Yellr, Christopher Brothers, ALone Together and Highland Kites.  It’s an all ages show (some of the guests artists like the Christopher Bros are under 18 as well) so it’s a great family event with something for every age and every taste!

Rhett May’s “Creatures of the Night” is truly an exceptional rock fusion album.  Rhett is one of the most promising musicians in rock today.  His music seems to improve with every album he releases.
