One of Eric Dill’s collaborations includes the platinum song “No Surprise” by Chris Daughtry (American Idol) which was co-written with Dill.  Not only did he receive a Platinum Album Award but also two BMI Pop Awards in 2010.  With his solo career in full swing, Eric’s first single off his first full length solo album, Forever is Not Enough, is charting at #37 on Billboard’s Top 40 indicator chart.

I read in an Indy Star article a few weeks ago that Eric was looking to put together his backing band.  I just saw Eric’s appearance on WISHTV8’s Indy Style this Monday and he’s already assembled a new band.  I can’t believe they’ve only been together for a few weeks because they sounded really tight!  The band performed a full electric band set of “In My Head” and “War with the Wolves.”  Eric released his new single “In My Head” to national radio stations on the same day, January 14th.  Eric is currently making a music video for “In My Head,” but offered a sneak peak at the video during his Indy Style appearance.  You can check it out here!

Eric Dill incorporates his unique style, experiences, and personal views in his music. Dill stated, “It was a priority for me to get this record done right...If I die tomorrow, I’ve got to have something that speaks to what I love about music.”  If you want to find out more about Eric Dill, you can check out his interview with Indy Star here and his interview with Indianapolis Monthly here.

Eric Dill’s New Rock Songs Charting in Billboard! Request His New Music on Sirius XM

“Forever is Not Enough” is Eric Dill’s sophomore album after branching out as a solo artist.  The album offers incredible new rock songs.  His first EP “Wherever You Are” was Dill’s chance to show people his musical solo prowess. “Forever is Not Enough” is a beautiful blend of the range of Eric’s vocal skills coupled with passionate lyrics. This record is truly a piece of Eric’s heart and soul, and you can feel that when listening to his songs.

Eric Dill is listed on the Billboard Top 40 Indicator Chart! After 12 weeks atop the Mediabase Activator Chart, Eric Dill’s single “War with the Wolves” breaks into the Billboard Top 40 Indicator Chart. On his new solo album “Forever is Not Enough”, Dill displays his musical talents and a style that is reminiscent of artists like Nine Inch Nails, Steve Perry, Our Lady Peace, and Smashing Pumpkins. Dill’s record charting success with his single “War with the Wolves” is just one of the treats off of “Forever is Not Enough.”

When asked how he gets inspired to write music, Dill replied, “I get inspired to write music by any number of elements: triggers that occur in my observation of our existence, a still mind concept comes into focus or I consider something in a logical way and play with it ‘til it feels I've achieved a unique and worthwhile perspective and delivery.”  This mindset is evident in Dill’s intricate songwriting and the delivery of his music.

Sirius Listeners! Do you wanna hear Eric Dill on Sirius XM? Well you can make that happen by going to the Sirius XM 20on20 request website here and writing in Eric Dill-War With The Wolves at the bottom of the page!

Be the first to check out Eric Dill’s solo sophomore album “Forever is Not Enough”.  This album is a striking blend of Dill’s vocal range and writing skills coupled with lyrics that are truly a piece of Eric’s heart and soul. “Forever is Not Enough” definitely has deeper aspects in the lyrics and possesses a darker side than his first album “Wherever You Are.” None the less, his melodic vocals are still the powerful ones that Dill has represented throughout his career.

Any fan of Our Lady Peace must check out similar songs by tastemaker, Eric Dill.  Along with Our Lady Peace, Dill displays his musical talents and his style that is reminiscent of other artists like Nine Inch Nails, Steve Perry and Smashing Pumpkins. Dill’s record charting success with his single “War with the Wolves” is just one of the treats off of “Forever is Not Enough.”

Along with Daughtry, Dill has the same musical talents and style as other artists like, Nine Inch Nails, Steve Perry and Smashing Pumpkins. Since Dill’s vocal prowess has been categorized as one similar to Chris Daughtry whose American Idol stardom put his rich and harmonious voice on the map, this duo was a natural for collaboration. Eric Dill Debuts New Songs on Album for CD Release Party

Eric Dill’s independent label, Vigil Records, held an exceptional album release party for his solo record “Forever is Not Enough” coming out shortly; at the Gibson Showroom in Beverly Hills, CA. This maximum capacity event was made up of industry insiders, and a virtual whose-who of Hollywood celebrities, actors and musicians. This intimate location houses a mini-museum of Gibson products throughout the years, and was the perfect location for the showcase. Eric’s rock/pop live performance accompanied by two stellar musicians, and his soulful performance when he played and sang a few of his acoustic songs brought the house down. Following up on his top 100 and Top 40 radio success of his first single “War with the Wolves” off the new album, and after his incredible performance at the party it is no wonder that he continues to climb the music charts. Aside from the great food, open-bar, and lively audience, party-goers left with a gift bag that included an Eric Dill T-shirt that says, “I’m kind of a big Dill.” Starting a solo music career is always risky, and nerve-racking, but Eric Dill put his musical past to good use, with amazing vocal skills; and lyrics that he is truly passionate about.
