Sijay’s musical
background, along with the urban lifestyle of Chicago, has established a desire in Sijay to
not follow the standard music guidelines.
He has allowed himself to merge genres and constantly create new music that
the listener has never heard before.
Sijay defies
expectations of the type of music you’d expect from a young artist. He clearly demonstrates the experience and
vocal abilities of a veteran. While
listening to the songs off of “Detroit Club,” you get lost in the musicality of
each track. His voice has the smoothness that defines the Smooth
Jazz genre.
