See Why This Energetic Alt. Band Stands Out on YouTube! Read the Story on NoDepression!
Have you
guys checked on the article on NoDepression
about Brian McShea and the Sidemen? They absolutely love them! They said how
they are “one of the most prolific and diverse in the U.S. , and this group contributes to
its diversity with their dynamic blend of pop, alternative rock, and jam-band
aesthetics.” It makes me so happy to see that Brian and the boys are getting
the attention they deserve, especially from a well-known website like
NoDepression. Hopefully their publicity will attract new followers that will
love these undiscovered gems!
Besides
the article, they are also getting a lot more views on YouTube. I remember
watching their “Stephanie”music video last week when it only had 500 views, and now it has over 2,500! I know these
are rookie numbers compared to the big names like the Foo Fighters or Foster
the People, but for an independent artist like Brian McShea and the Sidemen,
these numbers are huge! At this rate, I wouldn’t be surprised if they get in
the tens of thousands of views; which would be more than enough of a following
to fill up their upcoming shows at The Redwood Bar (7/31) and Lucky Strike
(8/26) in Los Angeles !

If You’re A Rock Or Fall Out Boy Fan, Get Some Free Music On Spotify Of Brian Mcshea And The Sidemen
BRIAN McSHEA AND THE SIDEMEN
A lot of
songs you listen to, you may only play once, but with Brian McShea and The
Sidemen you just can’t get enough of a good thing. They just released 3 singles off their new
album (which is coming out later this month).
The first one “We Don’t Wanna Hear About it” is one of those songs – it
was recommended by Noisetrade so of course, grabbed a free download.
Not since I wore out my Fall Out
Boys download of the track, The Last of The Real Ones, have I played the crap
out a song like this one. Seems like
everytime I listen I hear a new note from the trombone or sax or interpret
something new about the lyrics. Their
next single “Stephanie” – again a great tune and the most recent release one
“You’re Famous Mr. Davis” (this one has an interesting true story behind it –
google it!) became available on Spotify.
I loved Stephanie – Mr. Davis I wasn’t so sure about but the more I
listen, the more I like it! It’s
definitely a departure from the other 2 in terms of style. You can get a free download of all 3 at Noisetrade or you can stream ‘em on Spotify .
So if you’re
into big bands (7 pieces to be exact!) with a big sound or if you like bands
like Fall Out Boy, Foo Fighters and the likes, you owe it to yourself to check
out Brian McShea and The Sidemen at: www.BrianMcSheaAndTheSidemen

In the Spirit of Southern Rock like Lynyrd Skynyrd, Jagertown’s “Rearview” YouTube Video is Full of Bite and Grit
Like Lynyrd Skynyrd and many other southern rock artists before them, Jagertown’s single Rearview has been reviewed by perhaps the best known Country Music critic, for Music Row Magazine, Robert K. Oermann, in his column DISClaimer: “I dig this. The fierce lead singer has bite and grit. The band plays with fiery conviction and lotsa punch. The kiss-off song packs a wallop. A winner.” And yes we agree Mr. Oermann, that pretty much sums it up!
Rearview continues to pick up steam on the Music Row chart and views of the lyric video on YouTube. You can get the single or the album on Google Play or iTunes.

The Slow Lights, Pop Rock Band with Horns Releases Spotify Single Wicked Bones
I heard this new (well new to me anyway) 4 piece band
from Maryland, the Slow Lights - and absolutely fell in love with their sound,
they are kinda rock, kind of pop with a horn section (that’s actually made up
of ONE amazing player – she plays keyboards and like 4 different horns)!. Take a listen to their single Wicked bones
on Spotify or
DOWNLOAD IT FREE ON Noisetrade
and
let me know what you think. I for one am
hooked – hopefully they’ll be putting out more music on a regular basis.

Rearview by Jagertown Is Already Big Hit on Country Radio
Hey my fellow country fans I just heard the best new song
out there on the radio today; Rearview by Jagertown. I want to say this band
reminds me of a mixture of Blake Shelton and with some classic rock hints, but
that’s my opinion! Tried to find it
online but apparently it’s off an album of the same name that doesn’t come out
until next week, but I did find a video here. If this song
doesn’t get stuck in your head then your speakers might possibly need fixing!
Honestly this is such a refreshing take on the break up song, if there were
more songs like this the world would be a much better place. Love the fiddle
player!
