Mikel James, a high
energy electronic music artist with a rock vibe, is blazing his way to
stardom. Soon,
you’ll be hearing Mikel James in movies and on television! Two very impressive licensing houses have
offered to represent his work, and the deals should be finalized shortly.
Mikel,
a Long Island native, was the “Featured Spotlight Artist” in Long Island’s Good
Times Magazine in the January 2013 issue! You can see a preview article in
Good Times, here.
His song “Back to You” off his CD “Perfect,” is a Rock Band favorite as well. You can view a preview video of the Rock Band game here.
And as if that wasn’t
enough, the song and resulting dance move Mikel collaborated on, that many went
wild over, “The Shiggle” (view all the remakes on YouTube and “The Official Shiggle Dance”), has been
recorded by New York’s 3 Dance Company and resulted in 87,000 downloads quickly. The
Company is asking for another one of his songs, "Watering the Dance"
